Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery

Holy Archangels - Kendalia TX
Founded by Elder Ephrem of Mt. Athos in 1996, this is a growing, vibrant monastery rooted in the Athonite Orthodox Tradition. The Monastery stands on 140 acres of land in the Texas Hill Country some 40 miles northwest of San Antonio. All nine brothers speak English, but the liturgical language is exclusively Greek. Men may stay overnight in the monastery, but women must find lodging in a nearby town. Well worth a visit and your support!
